Throwback Thursday

I know a good deal of you are familiar with the video that I clipped form in my last episode. But for those of you who aren’t or simply want to revisit for nostalgia purposes, here’s the video, posted by Jon Smith:

Smith lists the description on his Facebook:

“On February 3, 2021, the Hillsdale County Republican Party officers met with Senator Mike Shirkey in regards to his political censure planned for February 4th. 2021. This is a sad and somber video of local small town citizens facing their state government. Senator Mike Shirkey is the most powerful Republican in the State of Michigan. It does get a little hot at 52:30, please pardon the language. The Hillsdale County Republican Party has had enough of RINO''s and NECON's. We will continue to flush them out of our local party and we suggest you do the same.”

Fun fact: I had NO IDEA this conversation was being recorded. You can imagine my shock the next morning when my phone was being BLOWN UP with constant media outreach asking me to comment on the “viral video.”
